Power for Life is a portable off-grid power station that utilises waste heat from conventional cooking/lighting fuels , converting this into a stable low voltage electric
output which will provide lighting. Furthermore will allow immediate basic health, sanitation, hygiene and water improvements by a simple process using a well established technology route.
Our goal is to work with organisations/institutions to establish training/skill centres to build, deliver & support this enterprise.
With extensive knowledge in water treatment / low cost power production, our focus was to design a power unit specifically for local manufacture. The cost, materials, build & and array of uses should be relative to any local need.
Power for Life exceeds our design remit by highlighting social, commercial, horticultural opportunities we did not orginally forsee.
Developed by drawing upon our technical, application and commercial skills to produce a device which can be produced from almost entirely recycled materials, and which importantly, should be built within the user location.
This technology approach will benefit from partnering with skill centres / training colleges
